Montpellier Wines Tulbagh - Food and Wine Pairing Event - Day 4

Our final dish of this pairing event will accompany the award wining 2017 Chenin Blanc.

This ripe tropical Chenin blanc displays fresh crunchy apple notes before bursting onto the palate with a mouth-tingling crispness, leading to a long fruit-laden finish. Smells like: Tropical and citrus fruits with herbal and wild fennel seed. Tastes like: Fruity with notes of apple, guava, pineapple, melon and lime. We have paired this wine with an apple and guava crumble served with a grenadilla parfait. The apples are prebaked with cinnamon, cardamon and cloves and finished in the oven with a crumble topping and makes for a great finale for this event.
