Montpellier Wines Tulbagh - Food and Wine Pairing Event

Our next Food and Wine Pairing Event will be held this Saturday evening when we will be showcasing the fabulous award winning wines from Montpellier Wines of Tulbagh. For these events, Nick and his team in the kitchen, create unique dishes around the particular wine being paired to bring out the flavour and textures of the wine. Each day this week we will post information on the various wines and dishes being showcased this weekend, so first up is the starter....showcasing the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc, crafted by Montpellier’s award winning winemaker Reinhard Odendaal, this Sauvignon blanc has an exuberant nose of ripe asparagus, fig and subtle passion fruit aromas underpinned with enticing minerality. Medium to full bodied on the palate with a crisp and fruity aftertaste. Graze has paired this wine with an asparagus, preserved fig, goat cheese and pecan nut salad, drizzled with a passion fruit dressing
